Staff Profiles

Megan Hammari, EA – I have been working in my field since 2015. I am passionate about helping people navigate the complexities of taxes and keeping their books. I specialize in taxes and have experience in a broad spectrum of industries. While supporting my husband in his military career, I have had the opportunities to work with many different kinds of clients in different parts of the country. I hold a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Accounting and am an Enrolled Agent, and am currently studying for the CPA exams. I plan to be a licensed CPA in 2024. When I’m not working or studying, I love spending time with my family, spending time in the great outdoors, skiing, riding my bike, paddling my kayak or SUP, or hiking in the nearby mountains of Idaho.

Geoffrey Carter II– I started my career in Accounting in 2006 as an Accounting Technician in the Federal government. I obtained my BS in Accounting 2012 with a minor in Business Administration and a Certificate in Fraud Detection. I worked as a System Analyst supporting Accounting at a non-profit from 2014-2023. I joined Hammari Booking & Tax in early 2024.

Madilynn Novak – I began bookkeeping in 2020 for a non-profit in Boise, and quickly realized how much I enjoy working with numbers. In 2020 I earned two Bachelor’s degrees in International Business and Spanish from Boise State University. I am currently working towards my Master of Science in Accounting through Boise State University as well, with the goal to eventually obtain my CPA. I joined the Hammari team in spring of 2024. In my free time I am out exploring Idaho with my family, reading, thrifting, and working on various crafts.
